Share Values Drop on the Back of Brazil’s ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’ Housing Programme Budgetary Cuts
On the back of news that R$ 5.1 billion will be cut from the ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’ (‘My House, My Life’) programme, Brazil’s major constructors saw a drops across the board in their share values on the ‘Bolsa de Valores’ in São Paulo. Cyrela fell the most by 7.29% followed by MRV by 6.95%, Direcional by 6.34%, Gafisa by 4.53% and PDG by 3.16% (data collected by the ‘Economática’ research group).
