Brazil’s Caixa Econômica Federal Breaks Annual Home Lending Record

Brazil’s prominent homelender, the Caixa Econômica Federal, have just announced that their gross profit for 2010 was R$ 3.8 billion – representing a 25.5 percent increase when compared to the year previous. The total level of home loans granted in 2010 valued at R$ 77.8 billion, a new record for the government owned bank.
